About EasyCalcs
EasyCalcs is a collection of free, fast online calculators for the questions that come up in everyday life — how much zakat you owe this year, your exact age to the day, how many days until a deadline, whether your weight sits in a healthy range, how much water to drink, or how to work out a tricky percentage. Every tool is free, needs no signup or download, and runs entirely in your browser.
Who's behind EasyCalcs
EasyCalcs is built and maintained by Hammad Hassan, an independent developer who grew tired of calculator sites buried under pop-ups, logins and clutter. The goal is simple: give people a clean, accurate answer in one tap, and explain the maths behind it so they can trust the number. It began with a zakat calculator that worked properly in Urdu and Arabic — languages most tools ignore — and has since grown into more than 20 calculators used by people around the world.
How we build and check our calculators
Accuracy is the whole point of a calculator, so we don't hide the method. Each tool is built on an established, published formula, and every page spells that formula out in plain language with a worked example, so you can verify the result yourself. Our health tools use standard references — for example the World Health Organization's BMI categories and the classic Devine, Robinson and Hamwi ideal-weight formulas. Financial tools use the standard interest and amortisation maths, and our zakat tools follow the traditional nisab thresholds and the 2.5% rate. When something is wrong, we fix it; corrections from readers are genuinely welcome and we act on them.
Your privacy comes first
Every calculation happens on your own device. The numbers you type — your weight, your savings, your salary — are processed inside your browser and are never sent to us or to any server. There are no accounts to create and nothing to sign in to. You can read exactly what we do and don't collect on our privacy policy page.
Built for everyone, in your language
EasyCalcs works in English, Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Indonesian, Malay and French, with full right-to-left support for Urdu and Arabic. It is mobile-first, loads quickly even on a slow connection, and can be installed to your phone's home screen to work offline like an app — with no app store required.
Free, and how we keep it that way
EasyCalcs is completely free and always will be. Running the site is supported by unobtrusive advertising, which lets us keep every tool open to everyone with no paywalls or premium tiers. If a calculator saves you time, sharing it with someone who needs it is the best thanks we could ask for.
